<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<p>The aircraft mechanic II - avionics performs aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems and components. Applies technical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot electrical/avionics discrepancies.</p>
<ul>
<li>Possess in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment. Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems.</li>
<li>Possess a high degree of expertise of aircraft electrical/avionics systems.</li>
<li>Performs the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, modification and rewiring as required of complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems discrepancies and modifications.</li>
<li>Use schematic diagrams, blueprint drawings, maintenance manuals and factory publications to operate, modify, test and repair aircraft electrical/avionics systems.</li>
<li>Utilize test equipment to include but not limited to digital volt/amp meter, transponder ramp tester, fuel quantity tester, ITT calibration test set, and other test equipment required in the troubleshooting, modification, and repair of avionics/electrical systems.</li>
<li>Order parts and materials.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain qualification as a plane captain and any associated licenses/qualifications necessary to perform the duties of an OMAT2.</li>
<li>Operate ground support equipment.</li>
<li>Identify and treat avionics/electrical corrosion.</li>
<li>Perform aircraft jacking and hoisting as required.</li>
<li>Perform certification and re-certification of altimeter systems.</li>
<li>Perform calibration of directional guidance systems.</li>
<li>Required to perform collateral duty inspections.</li>
<li>Must obtain and keep current turn qualification.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness of the work center.</li>
<li>Comply with foreign object damage (FOD), egress familiarization, and hazardous waste and tool control programs.</li>
<li>Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility, and job assignment.</li>
<li>Assist as directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of government/company owned equipment.</li>
<li>Present a courteous and professional demeanor when dealing with customers.</li>

<li>Operate portable firefighting equipment.</li>
<li>Operate aircraft ground servicing equipment including vehicles, tugs, tractors, servicing carts, aircraft jacks and hoists, test equipment, hand tools, power tools.</li>

<h4>Minimum position knowledge, skills, and abilities required:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces aircraft avionics school or other schools with equivalent curriculum or three (3) years of on-the-job training and/or experience working with similar avionics systems and components is required.</li>
<li>Graduation from high school or GED required.</li>
<li>Must be able to meet any government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.</li>
<li>Must have three (3) years’ experience in aircraft electrical/avionics maintenance including avionics corrosion detection, treatment and prevention, performing maintenance on avionics and/or electrical systems, utilizing tools, blueprints, drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and normal safety requirements.</li>
<li>Prefer experience on T6 series aircraft.</li>
<li>Demonstrate a basic knowledge of aircraft systems and nomenclature.</li>
<li>Possess working knowledge and skill in the use of basic tools and test equipment.</li>
<li>Must be familiar with the operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems.</li>
<li>Possess a working knowledge of the detection, prevention, and treatment of corrosion.</li>

<h4>Work environment, physical demands, and mental demands:</h4>
<p>Work location is Balad Iraq. Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, balancing and reaching above shoulder level, pushing or pulling weight up to 70 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Must have close vision to include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires hearing to normal range. May require use of respirator. Requires shift work and a diversity of working conditions that range from a standard shop/hangar type environment, where there may be no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes in temperature, direct sun, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where noise hazards are prevalent. Exposure to high intensity noise levels, extreme changes in temperature, materials identified on material safety data sheets; working on or around aircraft and machinery. May be exposed to electrical shock hazard. Work location is aircraft maintenance shops, hangars, and flight line. May require travel in support of cross-country rescue and detachments of unknown duration.</p>

<li>Lead all trade finance operations across the conglomerate, directing the issuance, negotiation, amendment, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs).</li>

<p>Event Management Service for a Social Dialogue Workshops Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq 6 and 18th August 2026 Background and Context: More than 1.1 million Iraqis remain in protracted displacement, concentrated in the KRI and Ninawa. The Employment and Employability project has documented youth unemployment among some IDP groups at 49.6%, female refugee labour-force participation below 3% in Erbil and Duhok, and informality rates around 94% among young displaced men. The Iraqi Government's ongoing closure of IDP camps adds urgency: without a tripartite framework, people leaving camps risk moving into unprotected informal work with no recourse. The first social dialogue session will be based on the Policy Brief, Refugees, IDPs and labour market Integration in Iraq and Kurdish Region of Iraq: Advancing Inclusion through Employment that was commissioned by the GIZ supported project, Promoting Employment and Employability among Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Host Communities focusing on Women, PWDs, and Youths in Northern Iraq. That alone gives the session a concrete, ready-to-sign output. The broader discussion on labour market access barriers and active labour market policies adds systemic value. <h4>Key responsibilities</h4>

<li><strong>Construction & mechanical completion</strong><br>
Act as the liaison between the construction and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition from mechanical completion to commissioning.<br>
Oversee and track the mechanical completion status and ensure all relevant documentation is provided to the commissioning team.<br>
Facilitate the timely handover of systems from construction to commissioning, ensuring all pre-commissioning activities are completed as per the agreed schedule.<br>
Coordinate construction punch lists and ensure resolution before the systems are handed over for commissioning.<br>
Support in resolving construction-related issues that impact commissioning, ensuring these are addressed proactively.</li>
<li><strong>Interface management</strong><br>
Manage interfaces across various projects, including tie-ins, power projects, and oil and gas operations, ensuring integration and alignment between different teams and systems.<br>
Facilitate communication and coordination between the construction, commissioning, and interface teams to ensure all critical paths are tracked and managed effectively.<br>
Ensure that all interface-related activities (tie-ins, utilities, etc.) are communicated and planned in coordination with the client's project and operations team.<br>
Maintain a comprehensive interface register to track and manage all critical points of interaction between construction and commissioning teams.</li>
<li><strong>Commissioning support</strong><br>
Work closely with the commissioning team to support requirements for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in line with schedule.<br>
Monitor the readiness of sub-systems, systems and equipment for commissioning, ensuring any potential bottlenecks are communicated and addressed promptly.<br>
Ensure that commissioning requirements remain a focus during construction phases in line with schedule requirements to avoid delays or rework during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.<br>
Support and facilitate start-up readiness and assurance including pre-start-up audits and checks (i.e. TIV, PSSR, SUOP, PSUA, SOF, VCR) where applicable.<br>
Support and facilitate communication and coordination with commissioning and operational readiness to ensure a smooth transition through commissioning, ready for start-up (RFSU), start-up and handover; ensuring a collaborated approach with client's project and operations teams.</li>
<li><strong>Reporting & communication</strong><br>
Provide regular reports on the progress of mechanical completion, interface coordination, and commissioning readiness to both internal teams and external stakeholders.<br>
Ensure all stakeholders are updated on any changes in schedules, priorities, or issues impacting construction and commissioning timelines.<br>
Develop and maintain strong relationships with company’s project and operations teams to promote a collaborated environment for progress and inclusive problem-solving.</li>
<li><strong>Construction risk management</strong><br>
Update the construction risk register on a weekly basis or whenever required.<br>
Identify potential risks and bottlenecks at the construction-commissioning interface and work with relevant teams to mitigate these risks.<br>
Ensure that interface-related issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner to avoid delays in project completion.</li>

<h4>Skills & qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Strong background in EPCM projects, particularly in oil and gas.</li>
<li>Extensive experience in construction and commissioning (12+ years), with an understanding of mechanical completion processes and commissioning.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders.</li>
<li>Prior experience working in the Majnoon field and familiarity with the operator (Anton Oil) and client (BOC) is preferred.</li>
