<p><h4>Duties</h4>

<h4>Required</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum acceptable experience level:</strong> Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a DOD or DOS program exposure, at least two (2) years’ of international experience.</p>
<p><strong>Knowledge, skills, and abilities:</strong></p>

<li>Prior proven experience in property disposal operations with Defense Reutilization Management Operations (DRMO), Hazmat experience.</li>

<h4>Working and Living Conditions</h4>
<p>This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit (50-55 degrees Celsius) during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods.</p>
<p>Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.</p></p><p></p>

Performs scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjusts systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization. Identifies, repairs, and records malfunctions by removing, repairing, and/or replacing defective components.</p>
<p>The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to, Cummins generator series DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6, 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP-3106A and utilize Cummins InPower software for diagnostics. This designee shall be qualified to work from blueprints, drawings, and operate a variety of electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments.</p>

<p>The air crew life support technician will perform inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on T-6A aircraft.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p>

<li>Perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections/maintenance.</li>
<li>Preflight, thru flight, BPO inspections, ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing.</li>
<li>Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical systems and components on the aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance.</li>
<li>Service aircraft. Perform end-of-runway, post-flight, preflight, thru-flight, and phase inspections.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment. Remove and install aircraft components.</li>
<li>Perform inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer and company maintenance manuals and procedures.</li>
<li>Service, operate, and maintain ground support equipment and perform interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas.</li>

<h4>Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required</h4>

<li>Must have a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing.</li>
<li>At least four (4) years of directly related heavy aircraft maintenance experience is highly desired. Experience must include complying with all applicable aircraft servicing procedures, aircraft maintenance manuals and parts catalogs.</li>
<li>Experience with OBOGS systems and T-6 life support required.</li>
<li>2.5 years Textron T6 Texan II aircraft maintenance experience within the last 5 years required.</li>
<li>Must read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.</li>
