<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4> <p>Aerostat operators/user-level maintainers will participate in the overall, hands-on operation of the aerostat system including launch, in-flight, recovery, and moored activities.</p> <p>Candidates will perform all functions to operate the PGSS/PTDS, an aerostat mounted intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platform, its mobile mooring platform (MMP), sensor payload(s), communications and navigation systems as well as associated support equipment (boom lift, forklift, all terrain vehicles (ATVs), and electrical power generators).</p> <p>Candidate will perform user-level maintenance functions including performing hands-on preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS), troubleshooting, removing and replacing line replaceable units (LRUs), and removing and replacing payloads.</p> <p>Candidate must possess a diverse range of skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new situations. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to CENTCOM, EUCOM, and AFRICOM for extended periods. This position supports the Iraq Vessel Maintenance and Repair (VMR) program. This position is for a full-time, in-country position. The work location will be at the Iraqi Naval Base in the port of Umm Qasr, Iraq. Essential responsibilities and daily duties will include:</p><p>Perform various welding and structural repair tasks, including modifications, and fabrications to ensure the structural integrity of the naval vessels. Collaborate and coordinate with key members of the VMR support team to effectively plan, execute, and report tasking associated with OSV, PB and Defender class, and RHIB vessels to include the industrial manager, site manager, project manager, and other technical support personnel. <p><h4>Program logistics and property manager overview</h4> <p>The program logistics and property manager will be primarily based in Baghdad, Iraq. The logistics and property manager will manage all supply chain services, including acquisitions, receiving, stocking, inventorying, issuing, and shipment of goods, utilizing resources to accomplish operational requirements. The logistics and property manager will report to program management to manage multiple geographical sites and functions to support critical client mission activities of this contract.
