This intervention contributes to broader national efforts aimed at promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration, while addressing the risks associated with irregular migration through evidence-based education and awareness initiatives. Under this activity, IOM Iraq will support the development and integration of migration-related educational content within higher education and vocational training systems. <p>The Program Officer is primarily responsible for supporting the implementation and day-to-day coordination of Amideast/Iraq's donor-funded education and English language programs. Working closely with the English Language Program and Training Manager, the position serves as the primary coordinator for assigned programs, overseeing participant recruitment, activity planning, logistics, procurement, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and communications. The Program Officer helps ensure programs are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with donor requirements and Amideast policies. The position requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple priorities simultaneously, exercise sound judgment, identify constraints and challenges before they become problems, and work independently with minimal supervision. The portfolio includes degree-granting scholarships and short-term educational programs funded by U.S. Government agencies, as well as programs supported by other donor partners. The Senior Program Manager oversees the design, planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of these programs. Core activities include preparing implementation plans, managing recruitment processes, developing program announcements, delivering presentations to stakeholders and applicants, screening applications, participating in interview panels as required, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. The Senior Program Manager also leads the development and expansion of the program portfolio, including drafting and managing grants and cooperative agreements with donor partners. The MLT performs lab tests and procedures, mostly comprising of microscopic, bacteriological, hematologic, immunologic, and chemical diagnostic analyses on samples of tissue, blood, urine, stool, synovial fluid and semen. The MLT looks for clues to the absence, presence, and extent of the causes and progression of diseases through accurate and efficient lab tests.
