The role shall be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of workover and completion operations for 5 – 6 workover rigs in the field, working closely with Workover Delivery teams, Workover Engineering rig and service contractors, supply chain and logistics, HSE, Civil Engineering, Production Operations and other functions within the Wells Department. Key Accountabilities   <ul><li>Role modelling of Safety Leadership Principles and values for the team</li><li>Driving technical competency and adherence to Standards across engineering planning and field operations.</li><li>Provide oversight and assurance of activities across multiple rigs.</li><li>Lead collaborative problem solving with Workover Delivery teams, workover engineering including change and management of same, leveraging rig knowledge and other available expertise.</li><li>Provide oversight of operations including water shutoff, ESP repair, ESP installations, well integrity repairs, water injection completions, and natural flow completions, all in accordance with minimum operating standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaboratively manage rig contractor relationships.</li><li>Oversee Workover Delivery Teams to guide the way they work.</li><li>Participate in performance reviews and lessons learned sessions.</li><li>Collaboratively engage in team's reporting to ensure correctness of reports.</li><li>Oversee Workover Team Leads to provide direction to WSL, rig and service contractors to safely and efficiently execute the workover programmes on specific rigs in accordance with standards and processes.</li><li>Lead or assist incident investigations, following through to close-out as required.</li><li>Lead technical and safety audits, following through to close-out as required.</li><li>Lead and coordinate technical input to workover contract tender specifications and evaluation.</li><li>Coach, mentor and build team capability in a multi-cultural environment including contractors both in the office and the field, taking lead role in formulation and evolution of local workover staff developmental programmes.</li><li>Drive Continuous Improvement in safety and operations, including regular updates and reviews of Wells standards.</li></ul> Specific Focus Areas <ul><li>Driving Safety Leadership.</li><li>Well Control and Well Bore Monitoring.</li><li>Oversight of Rig Contractor adherence to their SMS.</li><li>Driving rigour in WSL daily activities.</li><li>Rig specification focal point.</li></ul> Criteria & Qualifications          <ul><li>15 years relevant oilfield experience in Workover, Completion and/or Drilling activity.</li><li>Ideally, 7+ years as a Superintendent.</li><li>Experience with land rig workover operations and planning, including fishing, water shutoff, water injection and ESP operations.</li><li>Good communication and mentoring skills to be commensurate with the above job role. Renumeration: Competitive day rate + Flight + Accommodation 28x28 Rotation Department: This role will be reporting into the Maintenance & Engineering team. The control systems engineer shall report to Instrument & Control Team Lead and will be an integral member of a multi-discipline Engineering Department.  Responsibilities shall include:<ul><li>Provide technical control and safety system engineering support to client departments in the execution of brownfield and greenfield development projects, construction, operations and maintenance groups.</li><li>Participate in conceptual, basic, and detailed design activities.</li><li>Provide assurance on engineering compliance against pertinent standards, specifications, codes and regulations. Ensure that non-conformities and deviations are identified, risk assessed and mitigated.</li><li>Provide response to engineering and site queries in line with client specifications and best engineering practices.</li><li>Provide technical input to client management of change process. Carry out site surveys. Produce design and instrument, control and safety system work pack deliverables. Contents to include scopes of work, design/construction drawings, design calculations, system architecture, network configuration, control narrative, software design specification, HMI specification, alarm configuration, system I/O allocation, MTOs, task hazard assessments.</li><li>Provide support to develop and execute strategies to upgrade and expand existing control /safety systems. </li><li>Review and approve third-party engineering deliverables.</li><li>Produce material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, interfacing with vendors via procurement department</li><li>Provide support to activity planning and progress reporting.</li><li>Liaise and work closely with client instrument technical authority for guidance as necessary</li><li>Attend system testing, FAT, SAT and conduct technical audit/verification</li></ul> Qualification:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Control /Electronics engineering</li><li>15+ years relevant experience in control and safety system engineering, including the design and operation of processing systems in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Functonal safety certified from TUV/Exida or similar organization.</li><li>Experience in onshore operations, emerging areas / multicultural environments.
