<p>The Chief Engineer will be based at one of the Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all water purification, water storage, water distribution and wastewater treatments, as well as generators, and associated power generation, transmission and distribution equipment. The Chief Engineer is also responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of power plants, generators, compressors, air conditioning systems, etc., and operates industrial machinery and equipment in various forms.</p><p>DUTIES:</p><ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking physical plant and building operations services.</li><li>Supervise and oversee the operations of the water and wastewater treatment plants to include all water quality laboratory, pumping, filtering, piping and control systems.</li><li>Ensure the viability, availability and safety of water treatment and waste distribution systems.</li><li>Maintain water well operations and water storage systems.</li><li>Manage water treatment waste stream to contractual standards.</li><li>Oversee the:</li><ul><li>Prime power and water/wastewater treatment programs;</li><li>Operation, calibration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs to all mechanical, electrical equipment systems and electrical/pneumatic control systems.</li><li>Preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, repair, installation and modernization of all power generation, transmission and distribution equipment on site; <p>SRD Center is seeking a qualified Quantitative Research / Statistics / Sampling Expert to support a mixed-methods research assignment focusing on migration dynamics, potential migration, information needs, migration intentions, and related socio-economic factors in Iraq. The assignment will include a large-scale quantitative survey targeting approximately 1,000 1,200 respondents in Baghdad and Basra, alongside complementary qualitative research and stakeholder mapping. The Quantitative Research / Statistics / Sampling Expert will provide technical leadership for the quantitative component of the study, including sampling methodology, fieldwork preparation, data quality assurance, data management, statistical analysis, and interpretation of findings. The Expert will work closely with the Team Leader/Senior Research Expert, Field Coordinator, field teams, and data processing staff to ensure that the survey is conducted according to sound social science research standards.
