<p><h4>Job description</h4> <p>In this function, QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector will be responsible for site-based activities and monitoring and verifying installation activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and procedures of electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas equipment i.e. cable tray, junction box, smoke & heat detector, speakers, lighting & small power, panel, motor, transformer, heat tracing systems, navigational aids, UPS, tubing, pressure, level, temperature transmitter located in Majnoon.</p> <p>Review all project electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas documentations such as ITP, procedure, MS, specification, data sheets, etc.</p> <p>Support and promote project HSSE requirements within QA/QC activities and inspections.</p> <p>QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector reports to Site QA/QC Lead and has a reporting line to the Quality Assurance Discipline.</p> <h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4> <ul> <li>Perform quality control activities in accordance with approved inspection & test plans and associated specifications and procedures.</li> <li>Review contractor inspection and test reports.</li> <li>Review all project electrical & instrumentation and telecom, HVAC, fire and gas documentations such as ITP, procedure, MS, specification, data sheets, etc.</li> <li>Inspection of all project Ex certified (ATEX) electrical, instrumentation, telecom, fire and gas, HVAC equipment as per IEC 60079.</li> <li>Inspection and testing of LV & HV, control, instrumentation, telecom’s cabling, glanding, termination, etc.</li> <li>Inspect and monitor installation of the switchboard, distribution board, telecom cabinet, ladder rack, cable trays, heat tracing, CCTV, earthing, glanding & termination, cathodic protection.</li> <li>Inspection of the electrical & instrumentation equipment and telecom, HVAC, fire & gas i.e. cable tray, junction box, smoke & heat detector, speakers, lighting & small power, panel, motor, transformer, heat tracing systems, navigational aids, UPS, tubing, pressure, level, temperature transmitter.</li> <li>Join line walk and identify and close punch items.</li> <li>Work closely and maintain ongoing communication with contractors quality control representatives.</li> <li>Pre-installation checks, installation compliance, pre-commissioning checks and associated risks with each of these areas and ensure problem areas are identified, reported and closed out.</li> <li>Ensure non-conformances are reported in accordance with procedures.</li> <li>Prepare weekly quality control status reports and submit to line manager.</li> <li>Implement QA/QC activities including contractors/sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP/ITPs related ITRs and procedures, method statements and other contract documents.</li> <li>Prepare and sign off applicable RFI records for quality surveillance/inspections/tests.</li> <li>Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and signed off and that testing equipment is calibrated.</li> <li>Witness procedures, tests and certify the results.</li> <li>Issue flash report daily or as agreed with line manager.</li> <li>Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.</li> <li>Verify certification, tagging, and traceability of E&I materials.</li> </ul> <h4>Skills and experience</h4> <p>A minimum 10 years of QA/QC Electrical & Instrumentation inspection experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.</p> <p><strong>Mandatory experience and knowledge for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Instrument/Telecommunication/Fire & Gas</li> <li>Electrical</li> <li>HVAC</li> <li>ESD and SCADA</li> <li>IP Protection</li> <li>ATEX regulations</li> <li>IEC regulations</li> </ul> <h4>Educational experience</h4> <ul> <li>Preferred engineering degree</li> <li>Relevant experience: minimum of 10 years E & I inspection activities</li> <li>Qualified CompEX certification</li> <li>Successful completion of ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor training or transition course, preferred</li> </ul></p><p></p>

<p>In this role, you ll work with department managers and supervisors to deliver the program s preventative medicine plan. Your responsibilities will span food service, water purification, potable water, and ice plant operations, combining inspections and records review with disease prevention and environmental health activities.</p><h3>Position Title: Preventative Medicine Specialist or Technician</h3><p>Assignment Location: Onsite in Balad, Iraq; relocation required.</p><p>Work Environment: Work is normally performed in a deployed work environment.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide food and water safety support and subject matter expertise for the dining facility, retail concession restaurants and stores, reverse osmosis water purification unit, potable water operations, and ice plant operations.</li><li>Evaluate sanitation practices and preventative hygiene measures for dining facility customers and workers.</li><li>Inspect storage areas and food packaging, and inspect or review food and water deliveries.</li><li>Review water test results and collaborate on activities to prevent foodborne and waterborne illnesses. The prime contractor is responsible for testing water samples.</li><li>Work with the prime contractor, as needed, on disease surveillance, vector control, waste management, environmental health concerns, and infectious disease outbreak identification and mitigation.</li><li>Support preventative medicine inspection schedules and review department records supporting program-referenced medical technical bulletin requirements and the prevention of foodborne and waterborne illnesses.</li><li>Complete required organizational and client-specified compliance education associated with Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Two years of experience in preventative medicine, including food and water safety practices.</p><p>Education or training equivalent to Preventative Specialist, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 68S, or an international equivalent.</p><p>Fluency in both spoken and written English.</p><h3>Assignment and Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Obtain medical clearance and maintain current immunizations.</li><li>Possess a valid passport from your country of record before relocation and maintain a current passport throughout your stay in Balad.</li><li>Be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods.</li><li>Work may also require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 pounds.</li></ul>
