Maintain proper records of all permits and associated certificates raised in connection with operation and facility construction activities. Engage with O & M, Construction & Commissioning teams in the on-site monitoring and auditing of permit to work activities. Key Responsibilities: Awareness of priorities, planning and scheduling of works scopes with responsibility to prepare and review all work permit documentation including JSA s and Site Hazard assessments. Verify permits prior to approval by management team. Identification of plant, equipment, and process isolation requirements within the bounds of the Permit to Work System and in accordance with the O&M Isolation Rules. Liaise with isolating authorities to ensure isolations are implemented Carry out Risk Assessment exercises and direct teams in Toolbox Talks as appropriate. Under direct instruction from O&M Superintendents issue authorized permits. Monitor simultaneous and adjacent work scopes. Resolve of any conflicts between work scopes. Participation in worksite inspections and PTW audits. Ensure that all work permits issued are cross referenced (where applicable) to all interacting activity, and that all concurrent activities are carried out safely. Interface with FOD Operations on Brownfield projects to ensure proper permits are in place and the process is seamless minimizing work delays. Assist with coordination and forward planning to ensure that all permit requirements are pre-planned ready for start of next day's work. Taking a lead role in ensuring the SIMOPS is not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits. Tracks work permits through the entire life cycles from initiation to completion/close-out. Ensure record-keeping requirements are met. Maintains daily permit log, listing permit types issues, location and scope of work. <p>The Senior Corrosion Engineer will support the delivery of corrosion and materials engineering activities as part of a broader asset integrity management programme for major oil and gas operating assets. The role will be responsible for undertaking corrosion assessments, supporting integrity studies, developing technical deliverables and providing engineering expertise to multidisciplinary teams involved in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. <p>Under the overall guidance of the Project Manager and the direct supervision of the Lead Civil Engineer, the Civil Engineer is required to perform the following specific duties and responsibilities ensuring their effectiveness, transparency, and integrity:</p>
<p>Plan, supervise, and manage the implementation of rehabilitation and/or construction works, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.</p>
<p>Responsible for implementation and contributing to the preparation of the bill of quantities, as-built and construction drawings, Specifications and other engineering documents.</p>
<p>Responsible for day-to-day site visit of the construction works, coordination with the contractors and suppliers according to the needs and requirements on site; Inspects and report on contractor s works in progress ensuring that the contractor meets client`s quality standards and implement the contract in accordance with the regulations.</p>
<p>Provide support and guidance to the contractor and assists in resolving site problems, as necessary; Assist in the preparation of project plans, detailed schedules, and progress reports, and contribute to project closure activities and documentation.</p>
<p>Responsible for supervision of site technical staff and consultants assigned to the project, and the assignment and monitoring of duties during the progress of works; Liaise with relevant government authorities, beneficiaries, and stakeholders to facilitate permits, secure approvals, and maintain effective working relationships.</p>
<p>Embed sustainability dimensions including social and gender inclusion, as well as Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) aspects into the project during the design and construction phases; Ensure PSEA measures are implemented throughout the project implementation, as per the country PSEA action plan; Perform other related duties as required by the Project Manager.</p>
<p>Supervise and monitor contractors setting-out and construction activities, ensuring full compliance with contract specifications, approved work plans, and project requirements in terms of scope, timeline, and budget; Conduct daily site visits to monitor work progress, identify issues, and propose practical engineering solutions in coordination with the Project Manager and Lead Civil Engineer; Responsible for preparation of progress reports on construction activities, according to the agreed timeframe of works and submission of such on a weekly basis to the Project Manager; Assess and report on the project closing plans, archiving of cost and progress report and hand over all related reports to the Project Manager; Evaluate and assess work schedules and programmes, including the comparison with the schedule baselines and reports to the Project Manager accordingly; Check all laboratory reports, operation and maintenance manuals, and keep records and report to the Project Manager accordingly; Assess the work activities of contractor/s, measure completed work, and make recommendations to the Project Manager for progress payments to contractors.</p>
<p>Carry out on-site technical inspections and assessments to ensure that all construction activities comply with client`s quality standards and approved project specifications. Maintain accurate records and compile periodic and ad hoc reports in accordance with client`s procedures and reporting requirements.</p>
<p>Conduct site inspections, testing, and quantity verification, and review/approve technical submittals including shop drawings, material approvals, and as-built documentation. Maintain records, compile periodic reports and any specific reports required by client`s standard procedures; Responsible for the preparation and verification of a database for the available materials shipped to the project, schedules of labor force, and monitoring of quality of such during the progress of works; Check, verify and approve the interim payments submitted by the Contractor/s and submit detailed reports to the Project Manager.</p>
<p>Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, incidents and progress, ensuring timely submission of reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly). Support project closure through commissioning, handover and archiving of construction documentation. Assist in compiling periodic and specific reports, and ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and properly filed. Support the Project Team in overseeing change controls, risk and issue registers, and ensure timely and accurate reporting on project progress.</p>
<p>Ensure that lessons learned and challenges are documented throughout the project implementation and shared with the project team; Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and contributing insights and lessons learned.</p>

<p>A minimum of 2 years of experience in development and coordination within agricultural, water resources , or related projects, particularly in irrigation (Open Channels and Closed Pipe System) and water-related activities, is required. Experience in site supervision, as well as monitoring and evaluation, is required. Experience working on international and/or local projects in conflict-affected areas is preferred. Experience in implementing and delivering projects for international organizations is considered an asset. Experience in report writing, data analysis, and document drafting is desirable. Experience in Health and Safety Management is desirable. Experience in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for infrastructure projects is desirable. Experience working in the southern governorates is desirable.</p>

Support project teams with communications-related issues, including radio checks, tracking device checks, signal issues and vehicle system faults. Assist in programming, checking and preparing radios and communication equipment for project deployment, where authorised. Ensure all communications and tracking equipment is correctly labelled, stored, charged, tested and ready for operational use. Support the management of sensitive communications equipment in line with company procedures and local GoI/MoI requirements. Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and project teams regarding communications equipment, repairs, installations and technical support. Deputise for the Communications Manager when required, within agreed authority and capability. Conduct any reasonable communications or technical equipment task requested by the Equipment management team. Assist with project logistics support. To include Preparation of mobilisation and de- mobilisation of projects Maintain accurate Logistics accounts across all commodity types.
